- What are the classes unsafe_ostream, unsafe_istream,
- unsafe_strstreambase, etc? These classes pop up when I use the new
- SPARCompiler C++4.0 to compile my application. Calls to their members
- (e.g. ostream::operator<<(double&)) take serious amounts of time, and
- slow down the application. The program runs in 200 sek when compiled
- with SPARCompiler C++3.0, but it takes about 350 sek when compiled
- with the new one.
